I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Sabien has a great way of making the course fun and interesting so that you actually get excited about learning. The content and sequence were well thought through, making it easy to understand and follow. Can highly recommend it.

For me, this course is a well constructed method to learn Dutch, using Afrikaans as a foundation. The tasks, study material, and quantity of work per session was - in my opinion - just enough to ensure that the governing rules of Dutch was clear and memorable.

These Dutch classes are great! Sabien uses an easy-to-use platform, that makes it easy to get through your work and she has a nice way of making each class different.

I would certainly recommend this course. Sabien is a really good presenter and keeps you engaged. The workbook and exercises are useful and something to keep and refer back to. This course in Dutch has helped me a lot. Knowing where to start with communication (even though Dutch is close to Afrikaans, my home language) can be very tricky. Sabien is a wonderful instructor and has a vast knowledge of the language itself and that of instruction. She always gives space to ask questions and answers in such a matter that the answers are very clear. The course builds-up very gradually and you understand how the "blocks" fit in together as the course continues. The use of different technological platforms makes the course interesting and engaging. I would truly recommend this course to anyone who is in need of understanding Dutch!

Baie dankie Sabien! Die kursus was baie goed gestruktureerd en interaktief. Jou kennis oor die taal is werklik indrukwekkend. Ek waardeer al jou moeite en tyd die afgelope paar weke om my kennis in die Nederlandse taal te verbeter! 

Deze cursus is heel fantastisch- de Docent, Sabien is die beste taaldocent die ik tegenkwam! Sabien, is uitstekend en bring ‘n liefde vir die taal na die kursus, baie beter as wat ek in ander taalkursusse ervaar het. Ek beveel haar kursus aan vir enigeiemand wat ‘n basiese kennis van Nederlands wil bekom.

Sabien is nie net Afrikaans magtig nie, maar laat elkeen welkom voel sodat jy vrymoedigheid kan hê om deel te neem. Die kurses gee 'n goeie fondasie en dek 'n verskeidenheid van dinge waarmeë Afrkaanssprekendes sou sukkel. Die lesse word interessant gehou op verskillende maniere soos variasies in oefeninge asook die sogenaamde 'valse vriende' wat Afrikaners sal uitvang as jy nie van beter weet nie.

Sabien is a great teacher and always ready to help, even after class and during the work through email. The work is always well explained and class time never has a dull moment. Would definitely suggest her and Voorsprong to everyone.

Sabien is great in what she does and outdone herself on presentations and study material. I really enjoyed taking this dutch course and even made some friends along the way, thanks to the interactive zoom lessons. I am looking forward in doing more dutch lessons through Sabien.

I enjoyed the fact that the course is tailored for Afrikaans speaking people wanting to learn Dutch. The course also teaches the "rules" of the Dutch language which helps to understand "why" sentences are constructed in a specific way.

If you are Afrikaans and thinking about learning Dutch, I believe there is not a better option than this :)

Sabien is an excellent tutor, we enjoyed the breakout room sessions and learned a lot, also laughed a lot. She made learning fun and gave us a lot of extra websites with extra study material. The course definitely helped us to communicate better at work and with other Dutch people.

This course was a great introduction to the Dutch language! Sabien is an excellent multilingual teacher- I feel a lot more confident speaking Dutch and it helped me expand my vocabulary and general knowledge of the language.

The course is fantastic for beginners with knowledge on Afrikaans. Most beginner courses I have come across are too basic for me and the advanced courses a little too advanced. Sabien's course is the perfect balance and also teaches a lot of theory behind the language which is very useful when learning a new language. After this course I am definitely much better equipped in Dutch and ready to start a more advanced course. Thank you Sabien!
